Design and Vacation

I go about my vacations entirely different than the average person. When I'm on vacation or going to a place new and different, never do I go about on a set plan.  "No plans for me"! Instead I just spontaneously go everywhere like a leaf in the wind. The wind usually drops me off at the chicest quartiers for high end retail therapy, and local designer consumption. Those very quartiers of which I always conjure one of my dream Ateliers being constructed. I always take a picture of that Street, Court, Rue, Strasse, or Calle and render the facade with my dream ideas for my Atelier.  I'm a dreamer and like dreamers and unique people I always end up in all the unconventional quartiers; for example, the Artistic, Grungy, and Bohemian areas are of most interest to me. The people are almost a mirror image of me, unique, weird, and miss understood, but always talented. Some are just trying to catch their break to be known in the world. Some could care less and just want to be humble. I love exploring and seeing cultural differences in all cities, but most of all I love finding unique buildings, and Architecture. Architecture plays a big role in my style of design. Of which I'm sure you have noticed already. This is a collage of all the amazing buildings I have seen, and a quick sketch rendering of my dream shop. Wherever i get the chance to make it there it will be. Probably Berlin,  Moscow,  London,  Paris, and Monaco.

    Atelier Andre quick sketch.
